Nestled in the South Texas Hill Country is a true Oasis alive with wild game, many bird species, beautiful wild flowers, and hills covered with Live Oak, Juniper, Cedar Elm, Wild Persimmon, and Mountain Laurel.
The Frio River brings life to our canyon and the local folks take pride in keeping it pristine. There are no lakes or reservoirs up stream to regulate its flow. The water just flows out of the hills to create this beautiful, cool river, flowing over a limestone shelf, through the stones, over the waterfalls, and under the canopy of ageless Cypress Bows before going underground, South of Concan, into the Balcones Fault.
We invite you to come enjoy our beautiful river and canyons and ask that you leave them cleaner than when you arrived.
